Havoc Trooper Rifle

Going a little over a month now I have been slowly building the Havoc Squad Trooper Rifle from the CG trailers. I plan to pull it out of Resin in the end.

The wife and I have been mostly hand sanding and using a dremel on this thing and let me tell you, it has been tricky!

I thought I would share it though!
I am going to try and cast it this weekend. It is basically done otherwise.
It's just painted grey right now for sealant. The final Resin will be black and then painted over an weathered hopefully.

Spiffy! Great detail work on that.

It looks like it would be very heavy in resin. Any chance for a lighter weight rubber?

I plan to cast the barrel part as a hollow resin so it won't be so heavy. I might look into a rubber if i can figure it out. Any suggestions?

It will be really heavy but you could hollow it out if you really want to make it out of Resin. But I must say that the one you got looks great! Cool

this one is MDF so its not too heavy but i probably won't carry it around as its fragile and comes apart to cast.

Thanks! Wasn't sure I'd be able to make it but I think it turned out pretty decent in the end. Hopefully my resin pulls come out well too this weekend
