my 1st guess (as i am working on a full clone right now) would be to poke around clonetroopers.net (but read the rules and FAQ - they do not allow for WTB threads).. there are many builders there, but you need to just look around... if you want the more basic clone armor

if you want jedi more like CW (new cartoon) anakin - anthony (psykojedi) made his own armor out of sintra (it was a process) - i think there are makers for that around as well - but it was not too incredibly painful to make his own..

if you come over to the MWG boards and PM psykojedi7956, he can tell you about how he made his.. Smile

(or you can ask some of the anakins where they got/how they made theirs)

I had purchased some sheets of sintra on-line for my R2 a while back...
I wish I had kept the name of the place....because it was really pretty cheap...
but...
of course the shipping made things a little more expensive.

doing armor for Clone Wars Jedi has been something I have wanted to do as well...
but...I don't know that I will ever actually get to it.

I also had found someone making it and PM'd them (this was over a year ago) and that person never returned my e-mail...so I abandoned the project.

If you could make a tutorial as you wind your way through this project...it would prove very helpful for future people interested in this kind of a project.

when i get it finished i will send you how i did it, so far its not been too difficult. ive just finished bending it to shape. this was easier than i thought with the heat gun. just got to glue on the raised parts on , the edges of the armor i ve cut off and reattaching them just at the shoulders so when i raise my arms the pieces move individually with my arms. then of course paint it. beth is going to make me a clone wars style tunic then my general is finished

Hi guys! I was wondering what is that brand name "sintra" and found these working instructions: http://www.solarbotics.net/starting/200207_sintra/200207_sintra.html

And I found out that I have used that board at my work, but we call it here just "foam PVC".

I made my armor from almost same kind of board. It´s foam polystyrene between two layers of thin PVC. Rigid and bit lighter than "sintra". They use it as background of posters and advertisements.
