That is Arvel Crynyd, an A-wing pilot from Return of the Jedi. That would not be acceptable as an A-wing pilot. The Hasbro A-wing pilot figures should never, ever be used as a reference when making an A-wing pilot costume... Because the only thing that the figure actually has right is the green coveralls. Everything else-- the chestbox, flak vest, belt, ejection harness, gaiters, hose, pretty much everything-- are all wrong. (Well, the helmet is okay, too.) Razz

The Mon Calamari A-wing pilot figure, however, is pretty accurate when it comes to the outfit. But that's the only fairly accurate Hasbro A-wing pilot figure.

No, that version isn't acceptable for any kind of X-wing pilot. The action figure you posted is an A-wing pilot.

(And unfortunately your husband's costume doesn't conform to the A-wing Costume Standards.) Crying or Very sad
