I LOVE that there's a forum for droids here now! Here's my little guy (posing with Felix Silla):

He's not 100% complete; I still need to clean up, paint and insert the pocket vents and weather him. Then, I need to focus on the RC stuff. Right now he has lights and sound, but nothing RC yet. (Since this picture was taken, I've added the foot strips.)

My R2 droid is very much in pieces yet---this fall I'm going to get him started putting together. I've got almost all the pieces.

I'll do my best at taking pics of the process. I'm very much looking forward to getting him started.

Well, my droids aren't your typical droids, but here they are. The black and yellow is B1G1 or "Biggie" (He's a mini droid, so the name fits well Wink

The Blue and white is B1N1 or "Benni".

Both builds can be found on www.astromechfactory.com

My R2 is still very much a work in progress, The frame is pretty much done and the legs are near complete. I hope to have him standing and/or moving by Halloween. You can see my progress at www.journeyofgeek.com.
