Just a heads up y'all. Sportsmans Guide website is out of the chambray shirts and will no longer be carrying them and the workwear outlet- when you call the 800 number you get a voice recording. So those two sources are potentially unreliable!

Thank you for the updates, but this thread is specifically for the Endor Trooper project, not the RFT. Endor troops wear totally different stuff!

Feel free to start a build thread for your RFT though if you like!

Ok just an update. I am now starting to work on my Endor Trooper. I can only go as fast as my funds will allow Very Happy . So if anybody wants to start on putting their Endor trooper together lets do it Very Happy I will look into seeing when we can have a workshop. Right now i know everybody is busy with SDCC and CV. So im looking for some time in late auguest or september. If you have any questions just post here or PM me. I will do the best i can to answer your questions.Dont forget to look at the links that have been posted and check the Endor trooper link as well for rebel troopers, and also look at the forsale/ trade thread. Some troopers are doing runs or selling parts to their costume. Im sorry it has taken so very long. endor trooper

Actually as a turn of events there was a bike ride threw Washington State that Jillian just came back from- Not many costume for this as it is a long trek from Seattle to Portland - My mind just races to the idea- Endor Costumes on bikes.

But first got to hit the gym- and get ready to do the distance!

Although I have been AWOL I have been REALLY wanting to get back into working on at least ONE costume... that's Star Wars related anyway.

I will try to stay updated on this. I would definitely like to get an Endor Leia going sometime soon.

I am still interested, but honestly this is way down the list for me at this point. I would like to get it done in time for the next Celebration, but 3 other costumes in my queue right now! Razz

I just finished an Endor Trooper for a friend, and am using her leftovers to start my own... wish I was there to help you guys out... but I'm only a message away if I can be of any help.

The "Where to get items" thread on the Rebel Trooper forum is veyr helpful, as is the Yahoo Group "endorbunker"... not all of their sources are reliable, but I could help steer anyone in the right direction...

It's mostly a "point and click" costume... that is to say, a lot of parts can be ordered online... although there are several army-navy stores in Phx that might have some of the parts.

I have a good source for FINISHED donuts, too... the kits are cheaper but look like a nightmare to build!

Spray painting clothes in my front yard was probably the most fun part... Laughing

I have a few pictures of what I made for Robin, but I never had all the items in my possession...

Here are the Greeblies, after painting... (I didn't make these, I just painted them)

And after attaching to the bandolier... I was unhappy with the width of the elastic, it covers up too much of the greeblies... I plan on making mine with 1.5" webbing...

Me wearing the helmet getup... Laughing

Working on the spray painting... the Trooper forums suggest buying a Swedish Snow Camo coat, which is white, and dying it tan... I just made a simple hooded jacket from tan fabric...

Gaiters! Couldn't find any olive drab shoelaces, so I used leather boot laces.. don't know if they are acceptable or not!

The soft helmet under construction...

These are clickable thumbnails. click for a larger picture...

I'd be more than happy to answer any questions!

OK, here is Master Mina in her Endor Trooper costume... although she wants more paint on her pants and jacket...

I've got leftovers to start my own version! I'm going for the long coat, though...
