Just got my x-wing pilot helmet in and can't wait to get started. This tutorial will definitely help out, but I was wondering, is there a tutorial on weathering techniques?

Thanks!

had a question on the "sculpting wire" used for the mic tip , it says to use the 1/8th size , but in Joannes i found a 14 gauge wire to use ,
what gauge is the 1/8 th wire you recommend?

Trying to get ahold of Jedi Mickey. He may be on vacation but I have a few questions for him.

Working on my first X-Wing costume. I have a Jedi and a Dark Jedi costume. Been wanting to make a X-Wing costume for a few years. trying to finish it for the Disneyland Halloween thingy.

Thanks guys!!!

According to the wire gauge diameter table it would be equivalent to 8 gauge.

Found this at a Beverly's today. All it needs is a rubber sleeve or some shrink tubing to look awesome. Perfect tension in the wire.

Hello there!
Does someone know if something is wrong with Mark?
I´ve ordered a helmet kit and sent pp on Sept.16th. I´ve asked for updates on Sept.30th but got no answer on the "situation"...
How long did you wait for your kits?

Update: Incoming pm on Oct.19th; kit should be send til 21st.
2nd update: Helmet arrived on Nov.9th in Austria, looks good...

Scored one of these kits last year, and am finally getting around to putting it together. This tutorial is spot-on. Wink

Double-post for the win!

So, after three years, still no one knows what the brand or SKU number is for the edging/trim... or where to find it. Everyone has it on their helmet, but can't tell anyone new where to get it. Confused

If anyone has this information, can it be posted somewhere conspicuous? It's embarrassing to have to go to the 501st site and pay $30 for a two-foot piece to finish my RL helmet.
