I have brought a plastic obi wan kenobi lightsaber that has broken but it is an ideal weight ans size to hang on my belt.. However it looks to plasticy and i was wondering is there anyway i can make it look more metal and more like the real deal......

you have to look for the a good paint but still wont look the "real deal" you have a challenge in your hands Wink i wish you good luck

go to home depot and be patience, there you will find a lot of pieces you can exchange to make it look nicer

Toy lightsabers are not allowed. It doesn't just mean for your submission photos.

I know that saberwars.com is good for custom ones and much better priced that most others. Nocturne Academy is also worth checking out. Smile

If not, you could always get an Obi-Wan Force FX through EBay but as a custom that's much better quality is within the ballpark in terms of pricing, I believe the choice of what to do is a bit of a giveaway! Ben

I do have an episode 3 obi wan kenobi force Fx lightsaber but i was just wanting 1 to hang on my belt as a show piece, If toy ones are not allowed what does everyone else use as this is a vital piece of my costume i want it to be good........

Any help and ideas most welcome

A lot of people get their FX sabers converted to a single LED inside the hilt and then have a removable blade.

If you like the scrolling LEDs in your blade, maybe you can find a broken Obi-wan FX saber to use as a belt hanger.

And, it states in the Costume Standards that toy sabers are not allowed.
