I bought some of these bloodstripes but haven't done anything with them yet. the brown didn't really match the costumebase brown so I didn't install them Confused I need to make new pants from scratch. and, yeah. my tailorSkillz aren't really up to that level yet either. I'm thinking, the best way is to buy a pair of cheap denim pants from costco for $16 and cut them up to make a pattern. ignoring the pockets, of course. this would give you a basic pattern, which you could adapt to include the riding seam, and other details.
its on my 'to do' list Razz

I used a pajama bottom pattern, put a bowl that is about 12 inches round on the back pattern, cut the pattern then added 1/4 inch for the seam allowance. Worked out great for me! Mr. Green
