Here I am in all of my barefoot glory...

Still need to finish the helmet, bandoleer, and spats before I can submit. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

Do you have the Israeli Army boots or comparable desert boot?

Don't forget to double-check your outfit against the Endor Trooper Standard to make sure you have everything. And full front/full back pictures are best when you submit your application. Smile

You're getting there.

That donut looks really small though. Where did you get it? It should go down over the tops of the ear cups, but I don't think yours has enough material around the sides to open it up more to make that happen.

They should be sized more like this:

Woot just got my boots. As for the helmet I'm still sanding down the head holes (Got a big noggin so that means lots of sanding). Thank you all.

I used a Dremel tool with the sanding attachment to make the cutouts for the ear cups. It went very quickly.

Speaking of those Israeli desert boots, or comparable....

Where can I find them in US Mens size 10? I can't find them anywhere.
Also, in regard to the comparable... what is determined as comparable? I have a pair of modern day US desert boots. Would those be comparable, or no?

Here is a conversion chart:

http://www.i18nguy.com/l10n/shoes.html

But you don't need it because here are the boots..

http://www.zahal.org/gear/p3.htm

and they show both US size and EU size
and show they have US sizes to 12.5

the link is at the Endor Bunker Yahoo Group in the "links" area...

lol....it REALLY means a lot to hear that...a kind word is always nice to hear...

and I am sure Donna will agree that one of our greatest motivations in doing this is to help others "suit up"...

You have no idea how happy it makes me to see new Troopers join the ranks...

I've always been so grateful for all of the help that you, Donna and Lori have always given me in the past. Even though I have been dragging my feet for the past couple of years, your guys still find the time and energy to continue to be supportive of any newbie that walks through the door. That is what I appreciate the most about you guys!

In fact, a buddy of mine told me that he was in contact with Donna for some info on the Endor Commando. When he told me that, my first reaction was that Donna was good people and that he was in good hands.

So the compliment(s) is, and are, well deserved! Thumbs up
