The 190th ARW is an Air National Guard unit and Family Day is an annual event, when we open the base to the public and invite family and friends. It’s always nice to give them an opportunity to see what we do, especially after deployments, inspections, etc.

This is an event the 70th has done for a long time and we've been invited as well now, so maybe we can get a few folks there to help out. I'll post more info as I learn it.

I'll probably be going as costume support for this one too, as I'll have the baby in tow. Smile Hope to see you there!

uhm, yeah... Karl, Jackie - where's our Lawrence contingent? Sarah and I could use some support as we head through your neck of the woods Very Happy

I don't have an exact date yet, but I think they're wanting a list of participants soon so we can get on the list to get in.

Bart, I was wondering what kind of terrain this event is held on, R2 gets nervous when he sees grass, or gravel!

Thanks, Gary

I will check, but I'd imagine we're on a tarmac or hanger deck or something like that...
