(I'm stealing this from another base, 'cause I thought it was a good idea)

I currently have 2 in service costumes:

TC (both RL and 501st)
TS

My RFT is currently retired until I can afford to get a new bucket (from Cal/Bojangles) and replace a couple of other parts.

I'm working on:

Endor Rebel Trooper

Required Items:
Cargo style pants spray painted in a camouflage pattern. --not painted yet, but I'm sure I have a pair of tan cargo pants I could convert to this when I'm ready.
A beige or gray long sleeve t-shirt --not yet. Easily obtained.
Desert style combat boots (Israeli Army boot recommended) --I think I have some issue boots, if not, I'll order the Israeli ones.
Olive Drab Green or Beige spats covering top of boots to top of calf. --these have been... problematic. Still waiting on delivery.
Beige vest with cap-style sleeves or camouflage trenchcoat/labcoat --Donna is making me a vest.

Helmet consisting of an AN-H-15 cloth helmet (or replica) with a ribbed strip on the top, a replica rigid outer ring, and cloth bill --got the rotocast one piece donut. Soft cap ahs been problematic as well. I'll need to get one fo the soft cap made, but it's not a rush until Donna gets the vest done.

Olive Drab Belt with pouches -- got them.
Short, light-colored leather work gloves --not yet. Easily obtained.

Formal Requirements - choose one:
(Unless local laws prohibit or strongly discourage carrying anything that looks like a firearm)

A blaster --got an E-11 and DLT-19, but I'd prefer to use the Endor Rifle
Endor rifle --got it. Love it.

Optional Items:

Web bandolier with replica accessories
--I might get this after the rest is done.
Canvas military-style backpack --got an ALICE pack, I believe these are legal.
Poncho camouflage painted--I might get this after the rest is done.
Hooded jacket camouflage painted--I might get this after the rest is done.
Vest accessories--I might get this after the rest is done.

So, I'm maybe halfway done with the ERT. Expected completion date: Starfest 2009. That's my goal, and I'm sticking to it. Anyone else want to join me?

I would also like to do an orange X-Wing pilot costume, but that will be heavily fundage dependant. If anyone ever makes the Hoth orange jacket available, I might bump this up in priorities.

In addition, I'm watching the production of the Clone Wars era ARF helmet and will probably get a new chest & back armor so I can switch between Echo and the ARF (Recon Scout). What a stupid name for such a cool helmet!!!

I'm also watching the build of the Snowclone from TCW, and once a kit is made, I'll probably get that one also when the funds are there.

Working on: X-Wing Pilot

Plan to do:
    1. Jaina Solo's Black Jumpsuit
    2. Jaina Solo's Jedi Robes
    3. Jaina Solo's red dress from the ball on Hapes in Dark Journey
    4. Marasiah Fel's Imperial Knight armor (for 501st, if they'll accept it)
    5. Juno Eclipse for 501st
    6. Mirta Gev's Mando Armor (saffron version, most likely will be a Mandalorian Mercs costume) What Can I say, I love it!

Succeeded in talking hubby into:
    1. Jagged Fel (probably his CEDF or Empire of the Hand uniform)
    2. Antares Draco (also IK armor to match my Sia)
    3. His ultimate dream is a Vong Warrior

Edited to add in costumes that I've recently decided to do.

RL costumes finished:
Leia (though I'm not happy with it)
PT Generic Jedi
Jawa (though I need pix for approval)

In progress:
X-wing (need to paint compad for admission, and helmet for accuracy)
RFT (Need to get helmet and get/paint blaster)
Barriss Offee (I have it done, but I really don't like the cloak, and I can't bring myself to use blue panné...Must hold out for the *right* fabric)

for 501, I have finished:
Admiral Daala
Jawa..again need more pix (gotta luv cross over costumes!)

In progress:
Imperial Crew (waiting on compad from UK)
Tie Pilot (Need armor and chest box...will have to wait for several months)

I have a dream of making Lumiya for CV...but it's a fairly daunting project. Any SCA armours out there that can help with pointers?

Very cool, Sam! if you have any questions on the RFT, LMK. I'm one of 2 costume judges for that, and can guide you through whatever questions you may have. I do highly recommend Studiocreations' site --that's what I used.

Also, the Mountain Garrison just had one guy finish the AT-ST driver, he might be able to guide you.

Good luck!!!

Well, so far, in the currently working on, I have

Episode 2 Anakin - having to rebuild from scratch(need new tunic/Tabard/Obi material!)
Episode 3 Anakin/Armorless Vader - waiting on Diego's pouches, and it's finally redone! Again...and I will never really be done with my baby, since it's three years and STILL always being tweaked. (huggles his award winner. "Best Attention to details"! WHOO!)
The Clone Wars CGI Anakin - personally happy save for just needing armor and redoing the surcoat to lengthen the bottom. All in all though, VERY nice outfit, better than I'd initially thought, and HUGE reaction at this last weekend's convention here in Salt lake.

There are some positive developments in the ERT side of things:

Donna (Grey Jedi) is close to having the soft caps ready to go and Lonescout is looking at making a backpack kit.

I just don't have the heart to tear apart a vintage WWII ANH-15, so I'll be getting one of Donna's flight caps for sure. I'm already on the list to get the vest, so that puts me a bit closer.

And I've been talking to Lonescout, trying to encourage him to do a kit of his backpack. He has someone who can make the aluminum frame, and is now putting together a kit of the rest of the parts for it. All it really needs now is a seamstress willing to help with the cloth for the backpack.

I'm really excited that these critical components are nearing completion. The ERT would be perfect to wear here in the summer time..... Cool

Just a reminder to anyone in the Northern Utah area-- the 501st Alpine Garrison is having an Armor Party next Saturday, June 20. Anyone who wants to attend (Rebel or Imperial), whether or not you will be working on a costume, you are more than welcome to! We will be located just east of the Utah State University football stadium in Logan, Utah.

Here is the info, copied from the Alpine Garrison thread:
Euri wrote:
The time for summer parades, events, and walks are quickly coming up and if you haven't had a chance to make sure that your costume is ready to go, or if you want a good chance to get more progress done, this is it.

WHAT: Logan Armor Party
DATE: Saturday, June 20
TIME: 10am -10pm
WHERE: Same location as last time 1125 N. 1000 E.
Sam's map from the last party.
I'm too lazy to make another map. wink2

If you are coming and planning on working on a costume you will need to bring:
~your project and whatever you need to work on it *including extention cords*
~$5 food donation
~Any other food stuffs to share (Chocolate is always welcome! :yummy: )

The room is quite large so there are plenty of tables, chairs, and room to work on stuff. But if you don't have a costume to work on, come anyway! Last year we had video games set up, and lots of socializing going on. I'd be very willing to bring other games as well. It has been a long time since I've played Star Wars Trivial Pursuit and I need another victim- my husband just won't play against me anymore. Sad

As for food... Finger foods and munchies to share are always a yummy part of a gathering. We will have food sometime likely between 4-5ish. We can do pizza again, or we can order subs, or something entirely different. If you plan on coming chime in on what sounds good.

We have the room from 10 am -10pm so if you can come for all or part it should be a fun and productive time. Cool

Wish you guys were not so far away in N. Utah.
Laurissa and I would have loved to come up and see you all.

Good news though... I just have a couple pockets left and I'll have her X-wing pilot done. Her helmet is on order.

Once done with that I can get back to working on the 3PO back pack for the Wookie Razz

As for outfits already complete I have the Wookie for Rebels and Imperial Officer for 501st.
Then again are you really ever complete when it comes to outfits Laughing

I know that Julie and Gina have seen this, but Donna is now making the ERT soft caps for $175. Surprised Dance Chewie

And she says that she will be making the vests and spats, also. So if you're thinking about doing an ERT, this is finally a good time to do it. personally, I'm really looking forward to having this as a costume alternative and having multiple ERTs in Colorado. Anyone else want to do this??? Cool
