Clones of the Republic or COR is the Rebel Legion's clone trooper detachment. We accept the entire spectrum of canon clone costumes as seen in Star Wars films, television shows, video games, and other official sources.
_____________________________________________________________

How to join the COR:
There are several ways to become a member of our beloved detachment depending on your circumstance. Here is a list of possible situations and how to proceed:

> Not a Rebel Legion Member and have not completed a clone trooper costume?
You may join the Rebel Legion as a forum member and post here in the Rebel Troopers section. The COR membership will help you to build a clone that meets our standards.
NOTE: Until you are an active Rebel Legion member, you will not be able to see the Clones of the Republic detachment forum.

> Not a Rebel Legion member, but already own a clone costume?
Register here, first. Then, go here to learn how to become a Rebel Legion member.

> If you're an active Rebel Legion member and do not have a clone trooper costume, you'll be able to view the COR forum, but will not be able to post there until your clone has been approved. If you fall within this category, please post questions and progress here in the Rebel Troopers forum and the COR members will be happy to assist you.

> Already an approved RL clone?
Request access to the COR forum here.

To paraphrase a famous COR member ~
Be more than a number. Bridge the gap. Join the COR!

Hello,
So if I am a member of the legion and have a approved Clone Costume are we automatically part of COR. Or is there something we need to fill out?

There should be a signup thread but I do not see it in the Rebel Briefing area where all the other detachments signup. I will contact COR Command but they seem to on missions at the moment but I will try to raise them on the comlink.

Noob armorer here!

A question (okay, several questions):

Several in my base are interested in building movie Clones. A couple of us love making costumes from the ground up and are interested in starting new sculpts.

Does the CoR have information relating to movie clone builds? If so, having access to this info would be good. It seems, however, that people are not allowed to interact through the CoR forums without approved armor (sort of a "look, but don't touch...or talk to" system). If this is the case, then this system seems a bit on the self limiting side of things by not allowing those who want to build costumes to directly interact with those who have them. I'm not complaining, but merely stating the obvious. Yeah-yeah, so the interaction can take place on the general Rebel Trooper forums...but that gets rather busy in terms of locating threads and such.

So If the above is true, then...for clarification), are information exchanges only allowed in the general Rebel Trooper forums?

Also, (and I've not checked this as I'm just now starting research on the costume) does the Rebel Legion CRLs mirror the 501st CRLs for movie Clone armor?

You're right. That's just the way the RL handles it detachments. I'm not a big fan of it, myself. Maybe we can get that to change in the future.

You can post threads in this section and you can also send PMs.

The RL Clone Trooper Costume Standards are similar to (but not identical to) the 501st's CRLs. Several of the RL clone Legion Costume Judges have also worked on the 501st clone CRLs.
