Ok i have a couple of questions 1 Is Tan or khaki acceptable (it says 'or similar in the requirements" for the jacket and pants. Also Is there any pattern that can be used to make the items.

I have an idea of how to make the boots but if anyone has any ideas as to where to get them or what to get to make them myself that would help a lot.

To date --- I have the belt in coming, I have a graflex handle and the pieces to assemble the saber ( the correct ESB one) and know where to obtain a blaster.

Please PM or post here with any help any of you good people can give me.

Peter

Hey mate, Tan or beige is a better color than Khaki for the outfit. As for the boots, I'm sure I can dig up a tutorial that SP used to make mine. (when I get home)

Good luck with the costume build, I look forward to seeing your pics Very Happy

I see how the boots are made (That part I get) but the base (the bottom) is throwing me off. -- Is there a make or picture and the correct color for me to purchase or look at so I have an idea? In other words what "search" would I perform on the web to know what I am looking for?

Can any lead me in the right direction?

mate I went into our local K-Mart & bought a pair of grand Pa slippers that were the right colour & it was a colour I could match with the tops suede.

mine are 20mm mate, which is a little less than an inch. 2.5cm to an inch.

something around that width should look about right.

Have you got any pics how the build is going ? Would love to see them Very Happy

hey mate the suede looks good, the boots look ok to. I guess they'll be fine just as long as the are around a similar color. The photo makes them look quite different, but you've seen them in real life if they look similar & will look like they are supposed to be the same & go together well, can't see why it would be a problem. Looking forward to seeing more progress pis Smile

The saber looks good, what manufacturer is it ?

actually I am covering the the boot with the suede --- the original boot color will not show

And since suede is a good color then I wont have to worry about returning it. That was the expensive part.

i will be starting to work on the boot later on today and cutting suede tonight

it is 7 am here so like in 12 hours the cutting hopefully will commence.
