Any idea where people who have made these in the past have found them? I have the plans for the belt all sketched out, but I don't want to start cutting leather until I know I can find that part!

I think he sells the buckles for around 50.00 but also makes the Belts as well he is considered one of the best ones who makes the belt

I actually contacted him a few minutes ago. I hope he can either sell me the buckles or at least lead me in the right direction... Either way it looks like it's going to be a total custom job.

That's what I heard too -which is why I thought about picking up where he left off. Cool

It appears he's still going strong. He just revamped his site. I still ordered a buckle from him, but he might still be available for bulk orders.

His site looks the same, to me. He hasn't updated it since 2006.

Unless I'm missing something.

Ok - I just re-read the email Matt sent me and he did confirm that he is about to stop making SW belts. Guess I must have mis-read it originally!

His new site is here:

Its a shame he is not gonna make them anymore. For people who do not make there own, there is really no one out there to fill that need. The Han belts that are sold on the cheap... are just that... cheap. They may look nice in a pic, but only last a few troops. MP belts had/have quality..... glad I have my rig allready.

Well, that's what I'm hoping to pick up by the time MP stops making them. Cool With any luck, I'll be able to at least match his quality.

I just got a message from Matt who does the buckles. He's going to get some more made up this month and asks if there are any others interested in sets?
