Right before Christmas I got my button studs in, but never had a chance to put them on the pouches. Tonight I got a chance to work on it. Below is just a pic of the button stud. I got the screw back kind in case I ever get a chance to re-make these in leather.

And next is what they look like once complete with studs. I just have to add some weathering to the flaps and this belt in done.

Making a second belt tomorrow since this came out so nice. Very Happy

Got both belts done (second one stills needs flaps weathered) so I decided to test it out.

Getting closer! I'm still having some robes issues. I think I'm going to sew a few pieces of velcro where the robe closes. I'm having a hard time with it wanting to come down around the neck and chest. Still have to trim some off the bottom as well. Hopefully it will warm up a bit so I can get more weathering done too. (Yeah, March if I'm lucky. Laughing )

And yes, I know the one belt is upside down. Didn't notice until after the pic was taking. Very Happy

Worked on my rifle today and got a LOT done! But first a few pics of the build up from the last few weeks.

I wanted to make the rifle easy to transport, so I added this connector. Undo one screw and the barrel comes off, very happy by this!

After more sanding I got to painting today!
Here is how it all came out!

Scope side...

And the hammer side...

The hammer side is just a metal plate I found in a box of junk. It's a piece off of a old VCR I took apart. Three other pieces are from aold computer I took. The hammer is from ink I get for my Canon printer. These caps are trash but this time it was GOLD! I hope to get another one to use for a trigger.

Just need to weather and add my hand guard, FINISHED! I also plan to add a belt for a strap to carry it over my shoulder. Very Happy Very Happy

Now, to work out my issues with my inner robe and dirty it up. A new Tusken is almost here!

Since the Tusken rifles were all a little different, presumably since they used whatever parts and scrap they could find out in the desert to make them, I like seeing the creativity and individuality of the rifles you guys have been making. Smile

Thanks to all! I hope to finish weathering the gun tomorrow. I go started the other night but haven't had a chance to get back to it.

Today I've been a little busy.... trying to wrap up my Tusken!

All that is left to do is fix my sash in the back and weather it. Other than that I think I should have this.

Oh, is my robe dirty enough now. Wink Laughing Laughing

(Sorry about the lighting. Hope to get some outside shots later next week in the sun! Very Happy )

Here is the last of the piece... the sash.

I'm going to use a cloth belt and put a few stitches to hold it on. Once I put the belt on the end of the cloth will cover the metal part. The end of the cloth will get tucked in to look like one piece. Easy to put on and can be adjusted! Very Happy

LMK, if something needs fixing. Sometime this next week I hope to take pics for approval.

To me you are looking real good. I usually have to explain to folks that they have to dirty it up but you have definitely grasped that concept. Wink

Looing very good indeed my tusken brother! A couple of things...
1) On the inner robe, where it keeps falling down from the neck - I did thevelcro thing & it works a treat! Just be sure to putit a few inches in from the edge though, or it can show a bit..
2) Love the sash-over-a-belt idea! Awesome work!
3) I got nothing else but: Great job mate!
