Unfortunately, the Dooku saber is going to be disproportionately fat.

Seeing them at SDCC I was surprised, the Obi-Wan looks pretty good in terms of size. Much closer to the size of my Parks than I thought. Yes, the Dooku is big. But not as bad as you'd expect. Pretty awesome that they did it as well as they have and it's curved properly and everything.

I missed it too the first couple times I walked by. It has a very "toy" look to it so I think my brain automatically thought it was another Hasbro toy saber.

Museum Replicas is listed as a dealer for DragonCon. I wonder if they'll be selling any of their lightsabers? Or taking orders? I would like an Obi-Wan one.

fat or not. Ill be getting a Dooku. Its the only way anyone will ever get a Dooku packed with sound and light, for anywhere near $100. not that we might not see better ones, but NOWHERE near $100. I just hope it is somewht easy to disassemble for conversion to Lux blade

I just received my Obi-Wan TPM saber and I have to say that I am a little sad with it. The hilt, although is very pretty, it's all plastic. The balance is very blade heavy and I'm sure it's because the hilt has no weight to it because of the materials.
but I will now be trooping in my TPM outfit with the correct lightsaber that lights up. I would imagine the Dooku is going to be mostly plastic too after receiving this one. I dunno...it just makes it feel more like a toy than a prop.

You're sure the Obi-wan's plastic? The Dooku is not, I've seen pics of it taken apart for a conversion to a single LED installed inside the hilt already.
