True but I am sure they would take our $50 for pre-order now anyway Wink

Yeah, I'll wait and see if they have them at Comicon or something. I think I'd prefer to know I'll get my hands on it. Or wait for another crazy Amazon sale.

Yeah in terms of sabers they sound the same but we'll see how bright they are, I'll end up getting it converted anyway.

They're using the same technology as the MR ones, they won't be any brighter, if that's what you're waiting to see.

Well the yoda was also brighter than other mr blades so they may have upped the tech in the blade.

The Yoda is probably brighter because it's a smaller diameter blade. The LEDs are closer together, and there's less foam diffuser in the blade.

Not only that, but I have surmised that the green blades are just plain brighter than the blues or reds. Our eyes are geared toward the color green, you know...

Anyone notice he slid the switch up and down on the Obi-Wan?

Yeah, the switch is most definitely the red button and it's a latching switch in keeping with all the other FX's. Strange thing is that the Dooku switch is on the back ridge and it appeared like it was a momentary? He definitely pushed it in, not slid. Maybe it's some funky rig system like the Maul.

But yeah, you guys have it all correct. Yoda is brighter because of the smaller blade and closer LEDs. Green blades and LEDs look brighter than red and blue.

If anything these sabers may be slightly dimmer if they are the 3 AAA design but they won't be brighter.

The "discussion" on some of the other boards is whether the Obi-Wan is using a Sith sound board or not. I believe it sounds different because of the resonance in the pommel. I certainly hope it's no the sith board as that's the one with only one clash sound.

Even if it is its not that difficult to change it out.

I looked at the video several times in the larger screen, I think the motion of his finger on the obi makes it look like a slider but I beleave its a push button.

I think the switch on the dooku is a slider but I cant really tell.

But since all mrs have slide switches that I know of these could be sliders as well.
