It's was shown at ToyFair 2009 so all that means is sometime this year but probably either spring or summer more then likely, although they could do a possible fall release as christmas approaches.

When people start seeing these on shelves post and let us know so we can start scouting more.

Yeah, they're both too big. The Dooku is considerably larger. But that's what you;d expect for the price point. They need to reuse as many internals as they can. But considering I thought they'd be much worse I am pleasantly surprised.

The best thing about the Dooku is that they got in BOTH curves. The handle curve and the curve right before the emitter. A lot of fan made LED replicas had the top/emitter section go straight to fit the blade and stuff.

There's no release dates yet. Toy Fair is a trade show. Toy makes show off their future wares to store buyers and stuff. They are definitely farther along than prototypes but a release date is unknown. I would guess Fall or Christmas myself. Maybe summer? They could have a limited amount at Comicon?

I could not of said it better. I'm floored and I thought when I got my Obi-wan ROTS FX lightsaber that would be the last one I would ever need, besides it being my most favorite of all the Master Replica FX Lightsabers, But Now I Can Not wait to hold/own/and display this one as well...... The Dooku saber is sweet to, but the Obi-wan is left me speechless

Can't Afford it, but Must Have it.... Glad it's Tax Return time :jedi1:

Does anyone know what the activation switch on that Obi TPM FX would be? Is is the red button or a slide somewhere???

Probably the red button. Probably slides forward like the red Gralfex button on the Luke ESB. There's nothing else on it that could be used really. The only other greeblies are the covertec and the brass valve.

I think they would use a switch like on the Maul FX.
