Here are a couple more versions for you.

Keep in mind that these are not "finished". They are both based on a 4" x 4" square, and can still be altered. For lack of a better term, these are "rough drafts":

How thinks you?

I like the triangle one as well but I'd like it even more if the three clones were all different! Yep, making it more complex for you! Razz

A.) I used the same one 3 times to show that they were clones.
B.) Like I said...this is just a rough draft to show the basic design.
C.) Razz

Sitting behind a truck this morning at McDonalds I realized that is the "DODGE" font...it being called "Dodger" should have been a clue.

Is "Birth of a Hero" a font name?

like the triangle shape as well, would you need to add mos eisley base?

not liking the 3 clones....perhaps just one but enlarged, like from the waste up? similar to the clones of the republic logo I saw somewhere.

Yes, I was going to add Mos Eisley Base on the next version.

Will try single clone as well.

OK, here's another version...here, I've done a new Clone, and resized and changed some background pieces; also, I've added "Mos Eisley Base" to the design. This is with a font called "Gunship":

Then, this is the same design, using the font "Birth of a Hero":

It's cool, I'm just not sure how well this one would translate to a patch.

I agree with Mike, I like the gunship font a lot more and it would be a lot easier for patchwork!

I like the overall logo as well! Great job Mike! We are so lucky to have an awesome resident designer!

I LIKE GUNSHIP AS WELL!

however it seems the first line is vertically shrunk, and second line is vertically extended....

maybe try this as a compleatly differnt patch design.

Round
1 or 2 sandcrawlers racing with a commando in one sticking out of the top and a clone in the other?

like this one, only from the other side and lower down for prespective?

I'd say for now let's worry about one logo at a time. Wink

I agree...please remember that this is not Mike's full time job and that he is spending his freetime designing this for the group. I agree with working to get it right the first time, but lets not be too picky. The going rate for good design work is $75/hr minimum.

With that said we welcome anyone else to come up with some designs for submittal!
