Hmmm....this is a hard one.
Heres an idea,

"Beggar's Canyon Clones"

I'm trying think of something tattooine-ish, since we are the Mos Eisley base

Or maybe the "B'omarr Buckets"

Or the "Bestine Buckets"

Or dare i say....the "Tosche Troopers"

We already have Tosche Temple, the last thing we want to do is mix up the clones and the Jedi... Laughing

What detachment is for the clone troopers? I see RAID, RLSC, the Senate Detachment and the KJO...

Jundland Company

Well, I think you need more than three people to start a detachment... we needed three people to start a squad of an existing detachment... wouldn't clones be part of RAID? (Sarlaac Squad) or is there something out there I'm missing? (Wouldn't be the first time!)

All kidding aside (which certainly "The A(nchorhead) Team" was), from what I can tell over at the RAID forums, it seems that have created or they are in the process of getting their own detachment going ("Clones of the Republic will be the name of the detachment. It will also be refered to as the COR.")

Now I don't know if that means that the COR would be part of the RAID group, or if they would be their own separate group, but just like the Pilot Squadron, you guys would need to fill out the appropriate forms and be approved by their group.

I would think that the group name would have to be reflective of not only our base (which if it's not obvious, we are going for a Tattooine-based theme), but I think you should rule out something like Ronto Riderz...Riderz being a little more Hip Hop Universe than George Lucas Universe. I would also rule out any name that has already been used for another of our costuming groups, such as Sarlaac Squad. For the record, the already used names are Mos Eisley, Sarlacc, Tosche, and Womp Rat. So Mos Eisley Busters, Tosche Raiders, Sarlacc Fighters, or Womp Rat Bullseyers would be no-gos.

Now since you guys are Clone Troopers I would go for something a little more active than passive: Raiders, Marauders, Maulers, Troopers, Busters, Squadron, Force, Fighters, Team, Patrol, etc., as opposed to Riders (which is a little passive in that they are riding and not attacking), Delight (sounds too sweet), or Buckets (a little obvious).

Congrats on getting enough guys together for a COR Squadron! Your name should be voted on by you and your other two Clones, because you all are the ones who'll have to live with it. Just keep in mind, I do already have a fun idea for a Dewback logo Wink

As a non-clone with no say in the name, how about something along the phrase."Tatooine Clones. The Line in the Sand that None shall Pass." ?

Okay, that is more of a by-line than a name, but hopefully you will get the idea. Just something you might be able to play with.
