Even though I am not a fan of Pleather boots, from what I can see they would work. Only the brown ones, not the black ones.

I would ask the LCJ's to make sure before you buy them.

They look like they fit the basic description given in the costume standards for Episode 3 Anakin Skywalker. However, the brown shown in the product photo may not be dark enough. Like Neil said, ask the judges first.

They are pretty tempting with that price of $60.

Just stay away from all things black when putting together your Episode 3 Anakin costume. The only exceptions should be the covertec clip and the grooved rubber strips on the glove straps.

Good luck and have fun putting this together.

The boots are fine, brown as said. If you wanted to darken them up you can for sure, but otherwise these are aokay by me.

I do suggest saving up for leather ones later...you will not regret it Smile

my "2 credits" worth is that you might as well save up for the leather boots, unless you're absolutely wanting to get the costume put together as soon as possible.
I say this because you'll most likely eventually buy leather boots anyway, so either you'll buy these AND leather boots, or just save up for leather boots to begin with.
Then again, I may be wrong, you may get these and love them and never ever want to upgrade. I wouldn't say that's out of the realm of possibilities...however it's more of a long shot.

I saw these boots worn by a fellow Jedi at an event over the weekend. If you plan to wear them as EP 3 Anakin, you will need to find a way to make them a bit darker. As stocked, they are much too light in color.
