I didn't mean "you" specifically. I meant "you" generally, as in anyone. Wink

I bought a Rubies DL-44. I had to mod it to fit my Ashton holster that was made for a ESB DL-44 replica (I've since sold the replica.)

For $20 total, $10 gun + $5 shipping, plus another $5 for Krylon black satin, it works for me, and I'm happy that it's lightweight.

Dremeled about 1.5" of the scope.

Cut piece of ABS plastic and epoxied it to the hole, bondoed and sanded. Also, epoxied a round metal greeblie and sanded around the edges.

Before painting. Fits in holster nicely.

Painted with black satin.

Yeah, me too. All I've done so far is take it completely apart and repaint it. Might install a glass lens in the scope, but that's probably as far as I'll get.

I picked up the same thing on ebay for a lil over $10 and got it in the mail today. I have enough time to paint it up and weather it and here is my end product.

I think a very convincing blaster for around $15 and a lil time painting.

as you can tell I am a fan of repainting, so I am always on the lookout for something that will work
