Hi Everyone! After my Jedi costume, i'm starting an Endor Rebel Trooper costume and i'm working on the trench coat right now... I'm wondering how to get the color right...I mean, my first guess is to dye the labcoat in an earthy tone (Similar to Han Solo's) And then spray at least two different greens and perhaps a beige or maybe earthy yellow from different pics i've seen... anyone has a good idea? perhaps other techniques other than dying or spraying?

By the way... I think the costume standards don't say anything about pouches or pockets on the trench coat but i've seen on some figures that they carry at least two large pockets one on each side... anyone has an accurate pic from ROTJ where they show? anyway i've seen costumes with the same puches as the original labcoat so i guess it's just a matter of taste...

May the Force be with you all!

The standards didn't include the oversized pockets on the duster because it seemed to "nit-picky"; we stuck to the major, important items for this outfit.

This link is in the "Where to Get Endor Trooper Items" thread at the top of this forum:

http://www.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8925

I wish more people would check that thread since it includes A LOT of information (and that's why it's stuck at the top).

The Han coat was a different base color and camo paint job from the other Endor Troopers. For the regular troops Sunrider members dyed the dusters/jackets light tan then sprayed the camo pattern on top of it.

Hopefully you can find similar-colored fabric paint in Spain.
