I've just recently become interested in Jedi costuming, I hope to have my first full Jedi costume within a month and then officially join the RL, but for now, here's my first step into a larger world...

This hilt was inspired by design #3 from Big Yellow Box. I used the directions there to get my start, then veered off a bit in several areas to make it my own Smile

This isn't 100% done, but the primary construction is, so I wanted to share it and see if anyone has any feedback. I specifically plan to do a bit more work on the emitter (It's a removeable plug peice which allows me to insert a blade assembly that I made from a clear plastic telescoping blade and a small, bright LED flashlight). I think I'm also going to do more with the grip area, I think it's a tad plain.

I plan to do more sabers, now that I have the dremel and pipe cutter. I hope to do a hilt design that will allow me to insert the core of the MR Force FX Build-A-Lightsaber kit (core of the hilt with attached blade) if I can.

As part of my quest to assemble a decent Jedi Costume, I was wondering if anyone knows a good place to buy a Covertec clip?
