Would love to see pictures of yours Donna! Which ones are yours?

As for the boots, as posted earlier:

So unfortunatly tall boots must be there and brown pants as well Smile

The other thing that muct be added though would be the lightsaber. He does use one in AOTC

And yes Skoe, thats all you need. Belt, food capsules etc are never seen, and therefore in essense he does not have them. I woudl suggest a belt (and kind) for under the robes to hand the lightsaber.

If your member WANTS to have an all out tunic/Obi and belt underneath, then by all means! Personally I would make a vest ala Luke in ROTJ and a generic belt just to have there and a place to hang my saber. But nowadays its all the FX sabers, so no need to hang it anyway!

Justin

Thanks Justin, now it seems to be very clear; I'm gonna post this exact instructions in my forum so our recruit may follow them to the final process of making this costume.

Hope this work that we all have done could be translated as soon as possible into a written canon for this character, cause I'm pretty sure that my friend here at Mexico isn't the only one with this kind of doubts.

I sewed the tabbards into the shoulder seam of the robe. And yes Justin, it is a very pointy hood on that robe; I didn't even use my standard Jedi outer robe pattern for it.

As for the shoes/boots; all I've ever seen is the toes and they look like round toe hiking boots; no indication that they are "tall" boots at all. Since some people have a hard time finding/buying tall boots, I would think that any round-toed brown shoe should be fine.

I would modify the list like this:

1. Dark brown robe, with tabards merged on the hood (pointed not rounded).
2. Cinnamon brown inner tunic lapels.
3. Tan high-collared shirt with ribbing.
4. Mask and hands/gloves.
5. Brown shoes/boots.

As far as I know, both the outfits that I made have passed the application process.

Thank you very much Donna, this seems to be it indeed. And again, hope this could be translated into a written canon just right away, cause it would certainly easy up the work for many recruits.

Thanks again and the photos of your suit are great, congrats!!! Very Happy
