Is this for a wearable costume? I think I'd be a little leery of using resin pistons, seems like they'd break easier.

Why, yes. This is for a wearable costume.
The tensile strenght on the resin I am using is quite good, so no worries.

Oh, ok, I see where those go, now. I wondered why they were so short. Razz

What are the "working" pistons made of? Do they actually function, so you can move your forearms?

The working pistons do function.
They are made of fibreglass, i believe.
I also think they have a metal tube running through, as a brace.
Now, onto the torso.

Do you have the GA shorts as well? If so, how do you find them? I was thinking of getting them instead of the TK409 ones. I've tried emailing them, but my emails keep getting rejected Sad

I've installed brass eyes into the helmet.
New neckring is on it's way
My goal is to have this costume completed by August.

Finally got the new neckring last week
Gobs of gratitude to Commando Eight at the R2 buliders site for machining these, and to Jerry JAG for the technical CAD drawing.
