I just don't get it with ppl and the brightness of the saber......do u guys want it really and lose the color or still bright with the color??? Cuz from the sabers I have seen it seems the brighter they want it the more it loses its actual color like when a red saber glows the saber itself looks more yellow-orange than red.....just my thoughts on the whole thing...

it's all personal preference and also the technology one utilizes.
I personally want a bright saber so the color won't wash out as much under lights. That way in order to have a picture of myself in a Jedi outfit with a saber on, it won't have to be in a dark setting where you only get my silouette.
As far as changing the brightness, some technology doesn't actually advance the LED or whatever light source, it'll use the same one and then just not have as dark of a tint, thus getting close to a white light and making it brighter.
However, there are advancements that will make a brighter light without a sacrafice in color, or as much of one. It's just a bit more expensive. But if we keep buying that technology, it encourages those companies to keep trying to push the envelope.
Thems my thoughts on the subject
Mace
