I think it has to do more with the lack of sales, alot of SW figs just sit on the pegs. I think it's between the price (8 bucks a figure is a bit much IMO) and lack of interest with kids.

You guys are lucky I've been checking my local toysrus for weeks and still nothing, actually it happens alot for some reason but we miss complete waves of figures here.

You're not the only one. Here in Portland, OR it's not unusual for us not to get some figures. Most recently, Jacen an Jaina Solo. I haven't seen hide nor hair of those figures anywhere in Portland.
Back with the older Power of the Force figures (I think that was the line, anyway), we didn't get the Dark Trooper nor Mara Jade, among a few others.
At least I never saw any. If we did get any here, there must have only been a very few.

Yeah, we didn't get that entire wave I had really wanted to pick up the space trooper, Jacen and Jaina

I never saw Jacen and Jaina, or most of that wave. All I ever saw was the Bespin guard and shirtless Maul.

Ditto. What ever happens to these figures? Do they just disappear? Or does some uber figure freak go around to every state and steal them all? Razz

I know that the Star Wars Store at the Clackamas mall not too far away used to have some Jacen and Jaina figures, but were out last time I was there. I really should go back and check again...
Though I do hate going into that store, because every time I do I come out spending way more than I had planned. Laughing

You'd think living in NY there would be more options locally to get figures. Oh well

They closed!? No way. Man, that really sucks. That place was awesome. Sad
Now what reason do I have to ever leave my house again? What I ask? And yes, I may just cry myself to sleep tonight, the nerd that I am.
And another good question, why do all of the small stores that I like close? It never fails. The stores I do like close, and the ones I can't stand stay open for ever and ever.

But isn't she to blame for pretty much all of the problems in the world?
