Han and Luke with Stormtrooper parts as they appeared in ANH post-trash compactor is allowed. In fact, there is a separate entry for a post-trash compactor Han Solo in the Costuming Standards.

Don't rely on rumors and speculation regarding club policies. It's all spelled out in the charter and standards check-lists, and if you have questions about anything, the relevant staff are easy to contact.

In the films, the only difference between Luke and Han in disguise and the rest of the Stormtroopers are the actors wearing the suits. For a costumer, that means that there is absolutely no difference between a Stormtrooper costumer in the 501st and a "Han in Stormtrooper disguise" costumer.

Yeah, that was kind of my point.

"A black flight suit" leaves a lot of room for interpretation. Did it describe the insignia, the helmet? I'm sure it didn't define him as an Imperial Pilot, like the action figure set does. As for the Rogues with stolen TIEs...well, since it's a fiction, so anything could be possible. Maybe they wore boxer shorts and nothing else! Very Happy I joke, but I think it illustrates my point. Unless it's clearly defined by official sources, we could make up anything, and it all falls under the category of "custom costumes" and shouldn't be official RL attire.

To answer your question, when the Rogues participated in battles for Zinj (they were masquerading as mercs or members of the crew of one of his ships, they flew the TIES. The novels go into detail that they used all Imperial equipment so that the Imps thought they were Imperials, themselves. So, in a sense, yes, during some of their missions, they wore Imperial helmets, cog patch bearing black jumpsuits and the whole nine yards.

As far as later in the series, it just said that Tycho was wearing his black flight suit. It didn't describe it any further, no more than Corran wearing his dark green flight suit that was common for CorSec, or Corellian pilots.

I picked up one of those A-Wings from Wal Mart a few weeks ago. I am really liking it. In fact, it is sitting on top of my monitor right now.

Really nice....

This X-Wing 2 pack should be hitting the Walmarts really soon!

Hmm... now, if they will only come out with a Twi'lek pilot so we can see how the helmet on one of them looks...

They did.... I've seen pics of it. The name of the pilot escapes me at the moment. But they did do a Twi'lek pilot. I believe it was part of a battle pack.

They did "Doc" from Rogue Squadron 1/2, and the Empire series in the 1st Rebel Pilots Evolutions set (with a Snowspeeder pilot and B-wing Sullustan).

The Twilek pilot Cesi "Doc" Eirriss, is from the Dark Horse comic series Empire. (Darklighter story arc)

I snagged that Alien Pilot 2 pack this morning.

Hmm... I wonder if we'll even get the X-Wing pilot figures over here in Portland, OR. It's rare that we ever get anything unusual over here for some reason, which really sucks. Not to mention the Wal-Mart shelves here are almost always empty of Star Wars stuff.
Target and Fred Meyer tend to have the best selection here. Why can't they have anything special anymore?

Guess I'll have to go online. Again. Sad

Yes Doc was very cool in Empire (but she did appear in Rogue Squadron 1/2 first Razz )

Figures are cool and all, but I want to know where you snagged the Monarch emblem on your blinds! Sweet! Cool

Not sure if it had been mentioned before but... I'm happy they decided to make Corran and Whistler! (Although his flightsuit is supposed to be dark green, not orange...)

Another Evolution pack:

(And note the name of the third Ewok Mr. Green

Why any of my stores don't sell any Rebel Pilots related? I'm still trying to find the Comic Pack with Wedge and Borsk but... Sad
