I'm going to attempt the PLEX Missile system myself... Pretty much, I'm copying mine from the character in Battlefront. I'm not sure about the gaiters, though. The gloves may be a nice touch...

I'm sure it could be done with PVC, but it might get heavy. Scaling would be critical. Sheet styrene and wood would probably take care of the rest. Cool

I'd just need to make some gaiters, and a holster, I've already got OD canvas for that, and get some khaki pants, and with my Endor Trooper belt and bandoleer, I'd have this costume.

Would that be an informal costume?

Not if there's a 3rd reference. The Rebel Vanguard is in one of the Battle Front games, and they've made an action figure.

Even if it was only Informal, I wouldn't really care, since I have 3 Formal costumes already.

I want to do a Sniper version of the Endor Commando, and that would be Informal.

Hmmmm.... Sniper would be cool to do for the Rebel Commando. I wonder, would they use the same sniper rifle the Imperials used (the Blastech DLT-20a)???

Both are the same rifle, the bottom one is a little bit better detail. This is the same rifle that the prop makers used to make the Rebel Hoth rifle as well. It was made using the German STG-44 with the barrel of the .30 Browning Automatic rifle. Of course they removed the butt stock and replaced it with their own unique animal there, along with other acoutrements.

I really love this rifle and I want to make one so bad.... someday, I WILL make it a reality. And it will be more accuarate than that crap version that I see on ebay!

I think that thing's ugly, IMO. And it doesn't say Sniper Rifle to me without a bipod.

I want something that looks completely different, so I'm going to work on modifying this:

It may be ugly, but it served the Imperials and Bounty Hunters like IG-88 (the long rifle he held was the DLT-20a) well!

Not every sniper rifle necessarily has a bipod, but I do know what you mean.
