You've asked for it, and now (finally) here they are --the pictures for the RFT Trading Card!!!

Sorry for the delay, but here they are. I went through the 200+ photos from the shoot and tried to pick the ones that had the most people, and looked closest to what was in the movie.

Once the pics are narrowed down, I'll go back into photoshop and clean it up more, and try to make it look perfect for the card (getting rid of backpacks, etc) from the images.

I'm hoping that they can do horizontal images, because I'd like to make these in a letterbox crop for the final image --closer to what we saw on screen, similar to this image:

Ideally, I think it would be best to have the image on the front be of the "live" group shot, then the back with the dead troopers. Evil or Very Mad Cool But that's me.

Also, if there is a poll feature here, LMK and I'll re-do the post....

Live Horizontal 1

Live Horizontal 2

Live Horizontal 3

Live Horizontal 4

Live Horizontal 5

Live Horizontal 6

Live Horizontal 7 (actually, this is the same as #1, just cropped Wink )

Poll has been added to the first post. We only get one picture, so one vote per person. The poll runs for 2 weeks and the results will show once voting is complete.

The image should be horizontal to get the best use of space. I also think we should be ALIVE, not dead; it is our card afterall. Confused

I voted for #7. I just wish the guy in tan pants and no boots wasn't in the front. Sad

Well, I'm sure the photoshop could change that, after all. Wink

And thanks for adding the poll. I was mistaken in thinking that the cards could have a front and back image --my bad. LOL, I was kind of thinking that it could have a cool caption about willing to give our lives for the cause or something...

...but maybe I'll have to send the dead pics to the 501st. They'll appreciate it. Evil or Very Mad

(And yes, I'm a conflicted trooper. Cool My only true "good guy" costume is my RFT, and I've had that since 2002. Then I have a Tusken and a EP 2 Clone, both of which are dual role costumes. One of these days, we'll get the Endor Rebel Trooper project done in Colorado, but it won't be for a while...)

Even though I am not in the pic, I attended CIV in my RFT and have voted

I prefer #7 too, Donna. There is just something about the cropping that makes it look a little more "full."

Definitely photoshop the tan to gray and maybe add some boots... Also, this may be just me, but could you photoshop the hallway a little to look more "Star Warsie." Heck, even a little "Nabooification" would be hot... Heck, all you might need to do is remove the sign (or modify it into aurabesh) and make that stain on the run disappear.

I will definitely do my part to make it look more Star Warsy... I have some friends who are much better at photoshop creations that anm I. I'm good at the photography and photoshop for photos, but artsy stuff.... not so much.

I'll get back to you...

I have sent PMs to most of the people who ordered these, but I don't know the screen names for 2 and couldn't send it to them:

Brander Roullet
Roy Hollar

Could someone drop them a line if you know how best to reach them? Thanks!

Your younger son is in the picture, Don. I know he's not "official" (yet) but we were having fun.

I'll be sure to send you some when we get them in. Smile

Donna:
No need, I'm one of the original purchasers. Yeah, he was in the photo op, and now that his old man is a RFT too, I'm delighted to participate. Thanks for the offer.

BTW, he will be 18 in less than a year and submit his application to the academy then.

Thanks,

Don G.

Academy? Naw, just have him hop a transport and find himself a Rebel Cell! He might actually buy into the propaganda of the Academy.

Laughing

Yeah, I like #7 as well. Thanks for getting the vote together.

BTW, can't we have two pictures on the card? One on one side, one on the back? We could have live on one side and dead on the back.

On my Jedi trading card I have two different pictures on mine.
