This is a long way off, but just thought I'd get it in before I forget about it.

The Omaha Symphony is playing John Williams music concerts from May 16 - 18, in 2008. The 2nd half of the concert is dedicated to Star Wars music.

This would be a wicked cool event to troop! And we have plenty of time to organize!

Thanks to Christy, we now have a contact at the Symphony. She is friends with a person who works there and they recommended we call Diane Watson 342-3836 x120 for info regarding this event! Very Happy

We've got time, so it can wait until after C-IV. Shocked

I know I'm not a member of your base anymore Sad But we have a similar event in two weeks: http://rebellegion.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7851. I would be more than willing to come up and help you guys out for an evening. My wife and I have wanted an excuse to drive up there to go see the zoo.

I'm assuming that the other weekend would be for CIV? I'm lucky that I was able to convert my wife before we got married. Our reception pictures were even posted in SW Insider Very Happy

You made the Insider! Wicked cool! I'm working on my wife slowly. I was suggesting basic costumes, like the RFT or Imp Officer, and then she surprised me by saying Mon Mothma! Don't know if she'll actually do it yet, but there's hope. Laughing

I had a great time at the one in Springfield, MO and I would love to do it again next year! The symphony was awesome and doing the SW thing just made it that much better. Props to Norm Hackett for pulling it off for us and hopefully I'll see you all up in Omaha next year! I can't wait! Very Happy
