Re-posted info from 501st.ca forum:

WHEN:
- Sunday, May 4th 2008 from 10am to 5pm

WHERE:
- Comic Book & Toy Show/Convention at the Montreal Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in St Laurent (7000 Place Robert-Joncas, Saint-Laurent, Quebec H4M-2Z5) (Free parking)
- Just under 100 minute drive from Ottawa

ADMISSION:
General admission $3.00
Kids under 5 FREE

VISIT THE SHOW:
This Comic Book and Toy Convention will feature dealers that sell vintage silver and modern age comic books to present. From Amazing Spiderman to X-men, you will find all the missing comic books you can't find anywhere else. Toys, Comic Books, and Anime/Manga related merchandise (bande dessinee, Bakugan, jouets, star wars, webkinz, transformers, McFarlane toys, Buffy, peek-a-pooh, anime, and much more).

If any rebels are interested in attending, the event organiser told us that there is no room reserved to change but there are some restrooms beside the dealers room and we can put some stuff behind our group table or back in the car. They can provide half a table to put some flyers, free admission and possibly some refreshments. They want to promote the costumed characters for the toy show on the radio, so that's good!
There are approximately 16 of us going in costumes (Star Wars, LOTR, AVP Predator, MIB, Transformers ...) and we will be going to the restaurant after.
Post if you want to go. Smile

EDIT: There is now a room reserved to change and store stuff and some food and refreshments. Any vegetarians should let me know before the event. Smile
