H&W would be husband and wife Wink

It took awhile but Kim and I finally have our pilot costumes (mostly) done. I say mostly because our helmets are still in the process of being painted. But we are approved and official Smile

Say hello to Shadow 7 & 8 (and an extra pic of us on duty with Krash)

Thanks Smile
The flightsuits were made from scratch--a lot of work, but guaranteed to fit well that way (as well as be as screen accurate as possible Wink ).

You did a killer job there!

I didn't want a scratch built one as they don't feel or look like a flight suit would but yours seem to pull it off damn well!

Post some pics of your helmets when they get done!

Awesome, of course! Great job on the suits, they fit you perfectly. I'd like to see them in person sometime so I can get an idea what the trigger fabric is like. I plan on sewing "H & W" orange for my husband & I. Wink

(BTW Kim, if you don't have a LOTR Lady Galadriel costume, you really should make one: you look so much like her!) Smile

When I was looking online at JoAnns to see if they had similar material, they call Trigger "Cotton Canvas Trigger"

So while Hancock fabrics discontinued their "trigger," online I think it may be the same thing as their Cotton Canvas which coincidentally comes in orange.

Anyways, it is close in weight to other flightsuits/jumpsuits.

LOL. Yes. I did a simplistic Galadrel costumen many years ago. But since seeing the real dress... Shocked I could never get that detailed. PLus, I have enough with the DC comic and SW costumes. LOL

I found a place online that sells the trigger in the Seville Orange. It's called poplin by some places.

I guess this means we have to chip in and get you monogrammed R2-units?

Aw frak, you both have the same initials... frak that then. Wink
