I know the 501st are nicknamed Vaders fist but can they be classed as good guys as surely when order 66 was called, that regiment was already in place in the republic?

Surely you can't allow some clone regiments into the fray (costumed members) but not others?

What are your views and can we have a senior opinion on this one?

I ask as I have a 501st costume with only the boots to source!

Wait till I see Jase LOL!

Will submit it once I get boots sorted and my dc-15 shortie arrives from the good old US of A!

Fetter told me I was too evil to get into the RL with my 501st:

Send in the clones!

Jase:

"They're already hereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

Just need to sort Boots and await dc-15 shortie blaster as I don't think it would be authorized at the moment.

Very nice clone. Seems a bit of wear during the Clone Wars though...I think it gives it a great authenticity.

Cheers mate!

The hardest part was painting my Master Replicas helmet, I was caught between should I or shouldn't I as I collect Master Replicas stuff!

I think it turned out pretty good! People on rebelscum are saying it even looks better than the weathered MR version!

I've always thought that Ep2 clones would work, but not necessarily Ep3 "Order 66" clones.

One of those Hazy areas.

Sort of like Anakin obviously would work as RL or 501st.

But then technically Dooku as a Jedi would be RL (Ep1 era)...

I was as surprised as anyone to see that we accept 501st clones. But that's been set as a precedent so I have to follow.

We do have an impressive line-up of Clones here in RL. Very Happy

Years ago we talked about not allowing blue clones (back in 2005 as I recall) but someone pointed out that you saw blue clones serving the Jedi prior to order 66, so they were portrayed as good guys, and a number of folks objected to singling out blue clones. It just wasn't worth the trouble.

How does Anakin work with the 501st when as Anakin Skywalker he is a Jedi.Surely he has to be Vader with or without the suit to be 501st.

Color me confused.. Are you talking about 501st as in the Star Wars Universe or the 501st Legion in real life? Confused Razz

From '501st Legion' on Wookieepedia:
The troopers fought in the Battle of Felucia and the Battle of Mygeeto, just to name a few, serving under the command of many Jedi.

I think the key point here is that the 501st are clones who take orders without question. They are not good or bad in themselves, only their orders are. It was Palpatine himself who commissioned this legion, so I assume that he had the authority to make Anakin Skywalker its leader, no matter if Anakin was called Anakin or Vader at the time.

I think one could argue that they belong in the Rebel Legion ... for as long as they take their orders from Jedi.
