Aaaaaah, one thing you'll find is that some costumes can't help but come back. Just make sure you put it in proper storage. You never know when the General has to make a comeback. Wink

Wheu, for a moment I just got concerned. That is really such a great costume! Very Happy It would be a shame if you didn't wear it again.

Totally agree. They must have made this game with costumers in mind. Unlike the Clone Wars, where they gave the Jedi armour just to challenge us Crazy Old Wizards... Starkiller's armour resembles Leia Bouche armour, there are Han Solo belts, regular army surplus stuff, Qui-Gon boots, Vader's body suit, X-wing ejection straps etc on the costumes. I'm toying with making a blind Kota for JediCon2012 or perhaps the Alliance General costume. I don't mind dying my beard, I just don't want to lose it.

OHHHH, please keep me updated with your progress on Star! (I also recommend The Flagship Eclipse. These friendly guys helped me a lot with my costume!)

Agreed! Starkiller is a costume to wear ... but it's a hell of a costume. All these belts and straps. ... And during Jedi-Con I had to put them on on a daily basis (if anyone'll do me a favor: I wish me a winding machine for Christmas! xD)

Ian, it would be great if you want to do a General Kota for next Jedi-Con! I'm definitely going as Starkiller again; maybe in the training gear or in another costume if TFU II has anything good to offer. Cool

While I was perfectly fine with allowing this thread to fade quietly into the past, an interesting new development was brought to my attention this afternoon.

Star Wars: The Essential Reader's Companion, pg 122.

I will post the image when I get the artist's permission, but it appears I am now an official Rahm Kota reference.

Posted with the permission of the artist Brian Rood, this image appears in a much smaller version on pg 122 of The Essential Reader's Companion: Star Wars, which was released by Del Rey in Oct 2012.

Awesome!
I saw that picture somewhere (though I can't remember where now o.O) and I thought that it had an uncanny resemblance to you. I kept thinking "that sure looks like him... but it can't be, it's just my imagination..."
