Tomorrow a friend is goign to throw this together for me.... I have a bunch of stuff happening around the house and I won't be able to do it m'self.

he has red, black, and brown dye...... I've narrowed it to one of these two colorations...... help me choose

I like A because the jedi has a "twilight" feel to it, yet B will stand out against the obi....

I don't know how to make a poll or I would.....

I need to figure out what I'm going with by 6:00 tomorrow night, so.....

Thanks,
Tim

I think it should really depend on what color scheme you have going on with the rest of your costume to tie the ensemble together. I love red and black, but if that small belt is the only red thing on your costume, I don't think it would look right. The same could be said true if your colors were a red and black and you chose to have the brown and black belt.

My best advice would be to match up the color to the rest of the costume to see what flows better. Don't make it too much of a drastic difference.

Just my two credits worth!

well, if you look at my suit:

You can see that it leans toward the black/brown....... yet the red/black is just so cool...
either way, it's gonna have a silver buckle and the silver studs...

I would go black and brown, myself. I don't think the red really goes well with that shade of brown. Again, that is just me, though.

I'm curious as to what you mean by "twilight"? Are you leaning towards the Dark Side?

Other than that, I'd go with brown on brown or black on brown...

for lack of a better term, he's "on the fence." Very anakin-ish.... torn beteween the light and dark within him.

not a sith, a light-side jedi with a shadowed side.

sure, a sith would be great, but no groups are accepting them, so I'm jsut a confused young padawan. Laughing

yeah, I know.... I'm not a straight-up jedi, but I'm not dark, eithter....... am I making sense?

Yes you are making sense.

Still, avoid the red... unless your friend wants to mix a little red into the brown...

How about Large belt brown, small belt reddish brown? Now you'll really be confused, I know...

My second and 3rd Jedi belts were both 2-toned. The 2nd had more contrast. The larger strap is very dark brown, the smaller strap is tan, but it looks more red in the pic:

For the 3rd one, I went with more subtle contrasting colors:

I'd go with "B". It just looks like it'd match the colors of the costume better.
