Trooping Moratorium Lifted

Good Evening, Rebels!

With the recent statement from Lucasfilm about Trooping in 2021 and after careful consideration from our BRB Command Staff with Carolina Garrison's Leadership, we will be lifting the trooping moratorium that was put into place over the holidays.

Our base remains subject to various executive orders and government guidelines, with which we must still comply. Any event requests must include a description of safety precautions at the event. Some events and venues may have stricter guidelines that will trump our minimum standards. What this means for you: Events will have limited capacities and/or shorter shifts. Troops must follow all executive orders and local guidelines for Covid-19. If an Event requires something that is stricter than the government requirements and guidelines, the Event’s requirements should be followed.

Lucasfilm has placed some additional restrictions on trooping. In particular, we are not allowed to use Backdrops, and props/buckets may not be handled by the public. Any High Profile Events that would normally require LFL approval MUST be denied UNLESS the request comes directly from Lucasfilm. (ie; Major/Minor/Collegiate League Sports Events, TV Appearances, etc).

We hope abiding by these guidelines will allow us to begin limited trooping again, and we hope to see each of you in the future when you feel safe to do so.
