I've decided to take on the detail-oriented custom electronics project for my next hilt, which will be coming in empty. I'd like to assemble electronics that allow me to customize my sound font, maybe switch LED colors if I get a nice one.
Is there a guide any of you have used for the electronic components? LEDs, boards, etc.? I've poked around a little bit, but haven't found one that I felt confident in following. Especially when they're from eight or so years back.
Thanks, and MTFBWY! _________________ T'rien | Jaerion | Sodarien

There are groups dedicated to that, I think I'm in "Open source sabers" on facebook. They use one of 3-4 standard boards, with typical sensors, NeoPixel blades for fancy animations and libraries available on the internet. Lots of code postings and effects there.
Electrical part is no-brainer if you have basic electrical engineering knowledge (Battery, board, speaker, resistor/current limiter, LED). Low level coding - if you're into it, sky is the limit. |
