during this time of "Stay at Home", I needed something to keep myself busy... so what better thing to do then start a new build... Sure I have other things that I could do, but instead I figure I would start a Temple Guard outfit. Now as I am not able to go to the Fabric store right now and search through all the fabrics, I decided to first start with creating a paper pattern for the pieces... Attached is the paper patterns that I have done for the shoulders and cassock, and am working on the pattern for the tabards today.

Decided to do a little work on the mask this weekend. I bought the initial mask from Lions Den, and am pretty pleased with the quality of the mask to begin with. It is light weight, and should work well for my first mask.

Initial gold (will need touching up)

I figure I will let it sit for a day or so after the touchups, and decide if I am happy with it or not. If I am happy, I will put a clear coat on, and then put the lens’s in and some padding in the inside.

I would like to get the advice of a Judge on the following fabrics for a Jedi Temple guard
The 2 main colors I am looking at are Papyrus and Cornstalk in microsuede (link below to the fabric). I know that the CRL does not specify microsuede, but it appears that the CRL is under change and will be requiring this style of fabric (or one that has the same texture)...

I'm happy to see someone working on another Temple Guard. Smile But to be honest, I don't click all the image links; I much prefer it when the images are shown directly in the thread instead of having to go back and forth (it's also faster for the viewer). Wink

Best of luck with your build! Very Happy
