Mark V and Mark V.2 are, where I finally got a satisfactory result. This was achieved through:
- using a 1-component filler on most seams
- priming and sanding. I've tried different primers, so that's why there is a Mark V.2.
- more sanding
- acrylic spray paint, in several runs, with a some sanding inbetween
Result:
I'm not completely happy with it, as the acrylic paint starts to crack on the narrow side when putting on. This effect started after few days, as the paint hardened, but it is okay so far.
Next steps:
Forearm armor does the job, just needs a jedi order sticker (already arrived), but I cannot tuck my IT and OT sleeves into it. I'll need to go for a new sleeveless OT and different color of my IT, as the light-creamy linen does not look well with white and there are too many similar tones involved (photo just for checking the colors):

Acrylic paint. Cracks.
I was able to turn that into my favor, though. I can cracked it a little in the places I like and added weathering. Here, I present you, EVA foam forearms:
And the hand armor as well:
For weathering, I used watered down black acrylic paint and paper towels. I tried with coffee as well, but my espresso was not strong enough with the force and the colour did not flow through the surface.
Question: I guess I put the decal upside down. Is that an issue? |

As mentioned before, next step would involve redoing the tunics. I've ordered some fabric to try out stuff (silk, dyeing), it will go either towards sleeveless jedi general or Qui Gon Jinn.
In the meantime, I've extended my arsenal by a robe, based on this tutorial: http://www.forum.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36267
I had two major oopsies with it - I've lost seam allowance on the back seam and lost almost an inch of robe's body and I cut the hem of the sleeve under wrong angle, losing 4-6cm of the sleeve circumference. The latter would be visible to someone that knows the details of the standard, while losing a bit of fabric of the body is not visible at all - the robe is so full, that my wife and daughter fit inside together with me
I've added my DIY saber and Zabrak pieces and voila! A variation of my human jedi:

It all looks wonderful!!
In regards to your general’s armour, standard acrylic paint on foam will crack and ruin every time- enhancing your standard acrylic with fabric paint medium is an option- it’ll make it all more flexible, but I’ve no experience with it in the long run.
Plaid FX is a paint designed specifically for use on the Eva foam. ‘By cosplayers for cosplayers’ they say.

Two of my local crafting stores stock it, and I’m sure you could possibly find it online through Amazon, though I haven’t looked.
I love the tabards, and the narrowed sleeve on your OT suit you. _________________ Easy isn’t always simple.

I really like the light grey robe; looks great!
Also nice to see more alien jedi; Zabrak are always cool. _________________
