Note from Maria on the undershirt, the piping (?) is one inch apart.

Also quick note. Do we want to have that the shoulder bells are attached with elastic as a mandatory thing? It may be like that specifically for the display. Have we seen proof of them onscreen?

I've wondered this too. Seems display-ish to me?

Another note from Maria:

The belt is 3 inches, with the black binding being half an inch each, for a total of 4 inches.

And is hard armor, not vinyl/leather wrapped.

So I was doing some reflecting on the current climate as a whole and I am really, really concerned about the knife hilt. It is my firm belief that this be an optional item and I will explain why. Blasters look like blasters. Most of the time, we either have them out quite visibly ie; TK's marching around or secured in holsters.
Due to the placement of the knife and the fact that it is "hidden" but not makes me very, very leery. It just to me doesn't feel like a "safe" prop to have at any event but that could just be me overthinking things.

I only bring it up as it is listed in the boot section and then again in the optional section. Whatever is decided, it might be best to make sure it isn't listed twice.

I think all weapons, at all times, for all costumes, should be optional.

My understanding is that this is the case. I can't remember where I read this, but somewhere I saw that refusing to have a weapon cannot be a reason a costume is declined? Not sure on this, though, but I fully support this stance.

Laws vary, comfort levels vary, etc...weapons props are not regular props. The best advice I've seen is always treat a weapons prop like a real weapon. With this in mind, yep, your hesitance is not unwarranted.
