Hi LCJs,
I wanted to know a few things about my tunic and also if I added flesh coloured lekku to my jedi would it be approvable.
also on the lekku is there a length that I need and can I get away without a head gear and ear caps?
Would this suffice as head gear

I can't comment on the costume itself, but I am an approved generic Twi'lek Jedi! Your lekku don't have to be a certain length--there are several lengths in canon, from short Hera-style lekku to long ones like Darth Talon's. The average length hits around the lower back for most people. As far as ear cones, female Twi'lek have ear cones and male Twi'lek have regular ears like humans.
The headband is optional, too, though I find that it's much easier to hold the lekku on using some sort of headband--and it hides the seam where the headpiece meets your skin, which makes it a LOT easier than having to glue the seam and make it disappear with makeup. There are multiple styles of headbands out there, from large thicker ones that go under the chin (again, like Hera's) to just simple headbands.
You can see a lot of different styles of lekku and headbands on the Facebook group Twi'leks Around the World.
One last comment is that if you go with flesh-toned lekku, make sure you're really careful to get ones that match your skin tone exactly! _________________

... or use makeup to make up for the difference. (Like Koyi Mateil).
Also know that male twi'leks often have bumps on their forehead, like Bib Fortuna. _________________

The headband idea. Would a scarf design like this be ok? I'D very much doubt it but thought I'd put it back to peeps that have done it before.

Just curious: are you planning on covering your ears or have them visible? _________________

Those headband allows for not covering them. Though my previous photo show me covered.
Let's go with not covered. _________________

I actually like where this is heading. I'm really digging the extra long Tunic. |
