Hi all im slowly putting together my jedi temple guard and i am searching for the saber, I plan on dueling with it as well. Im hoping to find some help locating one.
The only 2 places i know of at the moment are
: Arms of they are asking 900usd
: saber forge is asking 390usd with warrior package

If anyone knows a good place to get one that i can use for dueling and trooping it would be a huge help! I am not really wanting to spend over 1000$ canadian on my first lightsaber if i dont have to.

Thanks for reading!

The Galaxy's Edge shop has single-hilt versions of the Temple Guard hilt, and I know Etsy sellers have been churning out some couplers to put two of those together for an accurate double-bladed setup, but I don't think I'd duel with that.

This is likely to be something people search for in the future, as well, so please share with us what solution you end up going with! Smile

I did some research on the internet, I have no practical experience with lightsabers and their smiths, but saberforge may have stuff you're looking for. There are some older rumors about their mediocre engineering qualities, but there are enough positive rumors as well. As I said - no practical experience from me, just the web.

They do have staves that can be separated into two sabers and I find their designs quite appealing. Some customizing options may be good for you (stronger blade) and the entry price for no sound/no effect/single color is very competitive. All of this goes down the drain, as soon as you choose extras.

Depends. Are you looking to have a folding Rebels Guard saber or a static non-folding Clone Wars Guard saber? With Arm on Fire Customs, their hilts cost $900 because of the hinge, and that $900 is for just an empty. You'll need electronics to do a double installation if you go with them. Here's mine as an example with 3/4" blades.

Mine is an older model, they updated their double hinge since I got mine and the design is still being revised. As of this moment I haven't tried fighting with mine, but I wouldn't dare do anything larger than some plain light Saber Guild stage fighting since that environment is more controlled than The Saber Legion.

You're best with going through Saberforge, and if you're able to do some electronics work by yourself, get it as an empty hilt so you can save money from the $100 Warrior markup. That $100 can go through almost enough parts from the Custom Saber Shop for a low-class sound hilt.
