Mission Report:
Thursday:

Meeting just after 5pm I found a number of troopers had already made their way in and were ready for a fun night as always, the bulk of members arrived by 6pm with a few late arrivals due to traffic; but no sweat we have done this before.

Like the last troops we would be up in the foyer from approx. 645 until 745 in order to ensure the public made their way to their seats; a quick safety briefing later and we set on our way to get ready.

Right on 645 we made our way through the lower floors marching to the foyer where we would position our selves for the impending arrival.
Slow to kick off we wandered the foyer posing for photos and once the masses arrived we went to out positions and posed away!

right on 745 Eva walked us back behind the scenes and we dekit and got ready for the performance.

Friday:
Same setup as Thursday we all arrived before 6pm and proceeded to get ready again.
We made our way into the foyer early and wandered around whilst the crowd was thinned and formed up roughly half way through when the crowd was its thickest
many photos were taken with all our characters wanted for photos with long lines for all of us! even us lowly tie fighters got some love.
Kylo Ren also got a massive response, having the light sabre in the hall way was epic

Once again right on 745 we were ushered away, dekit to watch the shoe!

Saturday Matinee:
Like a well oiled machine everyone was on time again and we managed to chill out for a while before we needed to get in kit
Again we made it out early and managed to get a bunch of wicked group photos outside the opera house with the Harbour Bridge in the background.
We then made our way in doors again to await our usually younger matinee crowd who really enjoyed seeing their heros come to life in person!
145 arrived and we left, most of us got dekit and went to enjoy the movie.

Saturday Night:

Our final session!

After the matinee viewing, most of us hit the Green Room cafe for lunch and enjoyed a well earned break for an hour or two before the final session was set to kick off.

Given we were now seasoned veterans of the Opera House we all seemed more relaxed this time and got dressed at a much more leisurely speed; we were still up and on display earlier than expected which was awesome.

At this stage the crew at the Opera House had almost left us alone knowing we would be where we needed to be and do what we had to do without having to baby us.

As soon as it had started we were finished and packed up our things and got ready to go home after a long few days!

Mission Status:
Success so far....

Peter left us alone for a lot of last night which shows we can be relied on which was nice; the Opera House crew know what we are capable of and how professional we are and don't need to managed! well done.

Highlight for Thursday had to be Sez' not having Chewbacca's eye makeup and Peter having to run to make up to see if they had some available; the wardrobe department lost it when they heard "Chewbacca needs eye make up"

Friday was a success, Sez' Kylo left me worried there were drag marks all over the floor from Kylo's dragging his sabre along the ground!
Will's brand new Krennic build was terrific, the "Cheers to the Death Star" had me in stitches when he cheered a member of the public!

Saturday matinee was a success, Phasma, Rey and a First Order Trooper were epic together!

Saturday night was a success, The First Order

and we are done for the time being....

I want to send a massive shout out to everyone who trooped, wrangled and supported is the whole process and made the organisation seamless in the end; between this and The Return of the Jedi we had 8 troops, close to 100 troopers appearing, Thousands of photos taken, countless of cans of Red Bull consumed and only very minimal issues experienced.

The crew at the Opera House as well as the Sydney Symphony Orchestra loved us and want us back as soon as the option presents itself.

At the moment there are no more Star Wars movies in the concert series so its a matter of waiting and seeing what the future holds
