Here is a picture of the shirt. It does have a horizontal seam. It's right at the belt line when I'm wearing it. Do I need to add another seam?

It looks like your seam might be a little bit low for you. The seam of the Rogue One rebel shirts should be visible above the belt. The hight varies a lot between the different characters. Some look like it is 2 inches above the belt. Others 3 inches and with General Draven it looks more like 4 or perhaps even 5 inches to me.

Yeah, there's a huge variance in where that horizontal seam is placed. On some it's almost even with the belt. I think as long as your seam is visible just above the belt you should be ok. Just make sure that you jooge the shirt so it is sitting correctly when you take your application pictures.
