Hello all,

I am going to attempt to make a ewok costume and viewed the ewok head post which looks great...The head piece on a Ewok is it purchased as a whole piece, including eyes, nose, and mouth or made from scratch? What is the best way to go about this? I have an excellent seamstress who will do the whole body for me. I need some help to go in the right direction.

Angelo

My husband built an Ewok costume for our seven years old daughter. The whole costume is built from scratch.

BTW I think an Ewok costume only works if you are a child or an adult with the size of e. g. Kenny Baker or Warwick Davis. If you are a normal sized adult it looks very ridiculous.

I don't think you can buy an Ewok head, especially not one that you could wear. I've only seen plastic masks that just cover your face.

I think that everyone who does an Ewok costume has to make it from scratch.

A lot of people seem to forget that they have fingers that aren't covered with fur. Or, it's just easier to make complete fur hands.
