I thought some of these references highlighting some of the costume details might be helpful for people's builds.

Great full length reference picture showing the boots. Her boots are a brown boot with a wedge heel that fall between her calf and her knee. They have both suede and grain texture details, and straps crossing around the ankle.

Other views showing the boots:

The costume standard allows for some wiggle room and only requires brown boots that go almost to the knee. They should have a rounded toe and a flat sole or low wedge heel.

These reference pictures show the placket, or strip of fabric that covers the front closure. It runs along the right opening. It is attached to the collar and creates a notched effect to the collar on the right side. You can also see that the collar and placket feature edge stitching and topstiching.

This tutorial is a great explanation of the difference between and how to do topstitching and edge stitching:

This one is a great explanation of topstitching:

The jumpsuit also features a yoke that runs just below her collarbone in the front and over her shoulder-blades in the back. It can be seen in the following pictures:

The jumpsuit has a long rectangular pocket on the left sleeve. It is divided into three sections- similar to a code cylinder pocket.

You can see the pocket here:

Leia's vest is constructed out of a deep almost eggplanty purple material with a visible texture to the weave such as a linen.

This is an option that may work:

The vest Leia wears in TFA features a unique yoke that extends down
the front. It is attached to the main vest at the back but there is no seam
attaching it to the main vest over the shoulder. The yoke is narrower than
the main vest at the shoulder making both layers visible.

This breaks down the layered yoke from the back:

You can see the yoke in these pictures. Notice how the back yoke has a center seam that is offset slightly from the vest back center seam and how the pieces draping over the shoulder to the front are not attached at the shoulder's outside edge.

The shape of the yoke and shoulders are clear here:

The vest front has two patch pockets- one on either side of the vest. They are attached between the side seam and sewn over the yoke piece in the front. They can be seen here:

Silvousplaits on YouTube has a very nice tutorial for Leia's hairstyle in TFA. I'm putting the link here for reference:

Hair References:

These are not required details, but interesting and definitely would add to a costume if they are included:

The jumpsuit collar is a type of rolled collar sometimes known as a Lido collar. Basically, there is not a separate collar band, so it creates a unique shape when folded over.

Jumpsuit pockets: They sit at an angle and appear to be double welt pockets.
