1. I'm confused on the robe part as I see some patterns with separate sleeves and some with the robe being all one piece and shoulders on the fold. Can someone clarify for me? I'm 5'5 and while I haven't gotten the fabric yet, I'm hopeful to find 60" wide fabric.

2. Is there or is there not a center seam down the front or back? I'm also looking to submit to 501st so my costume needs to work for both.

3. I'm most likely going to have to dye the fabric myself and looking at the RIT dyes. Is there one specific color I can get or does it have to be a formula? I saw someone use 2 cocoa brown, 2 dark brown, and 2 sunshine orange for all 7 yards of fabric they used. Any clarification would be great.

Hi, it depends on what words for your body size. Some people can make it all one piece and some can't. If you need to add the sleeves on then that is ok. There should not be a seam in the middle of the robes. That formula sounds pretty good for the brown you are looking for, but as with self dyeing any fabric, it's not guaranteed.
