Hello,
I would like to get some recommendations on purchasing RL approvable Jedi (Generic) belts and pouches ... and both of those could be as kits or completed items/sets.
Also looking for recommendations on purchasing lightsabers. Have already been looking at some of the main US companies (Ultrasaber, etc)
For all of these, any Canadian suppliers/sources that you know of?
Thank you!
Astra

Hi Astra,

There are many people who produce the belts and pouches. Please take a look at the costumes and props for sale forum, this thread might have what you're looking for: http://www.forum.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=70945

Lightsabers are really a personal preference, Ultrasabers does provide durable and affordable sabers, and I personally have a few from them. My recommendation is determine what you're looking for, if it's a particular hilt like one used by a character then search for one that way. If it's a custom, then you can either go with a company like Ultrasabers or Saberforge who offer sabers with interchangeable parts or go all custom and get your own parts i.e. the custom saber shop. It's all up to you. There are a few Canadian based companies, like Electrum Sabercrafts and Genesis Custom Sabers.

I hope that helps.

I would also check out the "Custom Lightsaber Owners" (etc) as a pretty knowledgeable resource.

Browse around Saberforge.com and Ultrasabers.com first, though.

Ultrasabers tend to be beefier, heavier, and more simplified, whereas Saberforge tends to have more cinematic designs. The number of options available for internals color, motion reactivity, sounds, flash-on-clash, rechargeability, etc. is very broad.

Pouch and leather makers are plentiful on Etsy and Facebook. Some of my favorites are Crowprops, JDOS, Steven Huerta.
